10月28日 Make it Happen "The opportunity always favours the prepared."
In reality, however, people always give up before the opportunity coming, with the excuse of inability. And it has obvious evidences in aspects of life, from job hunting to dreaming, even in the marriage proposing. People never strive for the opportunity perceived impossible even close the door when fortune is coming
However, nobody can recognise their potential abilities even the God if he is there. The world is marvelous because of the unexpected. I always appriciate the prize-winner cause he belives the attendence of miracle and makes it happen and I am so lucky that I am making my dream happen. 10月9日 关于“社交”这回事 不久前参加了自己院系的WELCOME PARTY，让我有感于不同国家社交文化的博大精深。
PARTY选在城中颇有名气的MELLIUM SQUARE，说它有名不仅是因为精美地道的多国美食，颇为考究的店堂设计，还有不菲的价格（是一般BUFFET的两倍）。事后我问MELODY为什么选在这儿，她说"don't u think it is the best one?"诱人的美食，和着俏皮的JAZZ，和眼前的蓝眼睛们CHATTING，还有比这更好的选择吗？ 鲁迅曾经说过，中国是一个大厨房。言下之意，中国人的所有社交需求都能在饭桌上得到满足，只见觥筹交错间，兄长弟短，同盟情谊牢不可破。下次会面，必定先对当时结盟场景畅谈一番。而在这儿，纵然当时谈得有多投机，事过之后，顶多是个点头之交，或许连名字还记不得。当然也有例外，威廉王子不也是和女友在PARTY上认识后才深交的嘛。 英国，PARTY结束之后的PUB LIFE是必不可少的，对他们来说，这才是社交的开始，只可惜当时的我没有意识到这一点。英国的PUB CULTURE举世闻名，老老少少，不管荷包充足或是羞涩，都会去喝上一杯，好像生活中的烦恼就随着这种琥珀色的液体一起喝进肚里，抛诸脑后。Ce'st la vie.
